Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Environmental Program Manager for AWS Infrastructure Services to lead multi-state environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance for data center siting and development.

You will coordinate with Real Estate, Legal, Risk, and Design teams to ensure on-time, compliant construction and operations, including Phase I/II ESAs and regulatory negotiations. Strong communication with regulators and external partners is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering, environmental science, civil engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience delivering multi-media environmental due diligence, permitting, and compliance.
• Experience with Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and regulatory evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Assess environmental risks and develop mitigations for data center siting and development.
• Lead environmental due diligence including Phase I/II ESAs and permitting evaluations.
• Deliver environmental permits, approvals, and plans for new data center locations and expansions.
• Coordinate with Real Estate, Design, Legal, Risk, Power and others to optimize site designs.
