Apex Companies, LLC is seeking an Environmental Principal to lead growth across the Central Region, focusing on externally facing leadership, trusted client relationships, and shaping the environmental strategy with regional leadership, national accounts, and technical teams.

This high-visibility role offers remote, hybrid, or office options within the Central Region, occasional travel for meetings, support, business development, and industry events, plus long-term career advancement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in environmental consulting, engineering, remediation or compliance.
• Established professional reputation with a network of industry contacts.
• Proven success growing client relationships and new business in consulting.
• Seller-doer with balance of BD, client management, technical leadership and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Grow and lead client relationships across regional and national accounts in priority markets.
• Identify, develop and win opportunities through technical expertise and networks.
• Lead client calls/meetings and major proposals with SMEs and client managers.
• Contribute to cross-selling Apex's environmental, engineering, and sustainability services.
• Mentor project managers to build business development skills.
