Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Geologist, Environmental Scientist, or Environmental Engineer for environmental assessments, hazardous materials surveys, hydrogeology, and site monitoring.

You will perform field sampling, oversee subcontractors, and deliver technical reports and maps. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in environmental projects, California licensure or eligible credentials, and proficiency with MS Office; GIS experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in environmental soil/site assessments and mapping from proposal to completion.
• Support regulatory permitting and prepare permit applications, drafting sections as needed.
• Prepare deliverables like Phase I/II ESAs, reports, and health and safety plans.
• Perform field activities and coordinate subcontractors.
• Support proposal preparation and budgeting.
• Ensure QA/QC and H&S compliance throughout projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and planners on assessments and monitoring.
• Field work includes Phase I ESA visits, sampling, inspections, GPS, logging, and stormwater checks.
• Coordinate with laboratories and drillers; oversee subcontractors.
• Assist with Brownfields projects and deliverables drafting.
