Job summary

GHD, a global engineering and environmental consultancy, seeks a Senior Project Manager for its GHD FIRST program in the United States. You will lead environmental emergency response, investigation, remediation, and preparedness projects for major industrial clients, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 5-15+ years of consulting project management experience in environmental fields.
• Experience managing remediation and assessment projects under regulatory programs.
• Experience with private-sector industrial clients (rail, pipeline, energy, chemical).

Responsibilities

• Manage environmental assessment, remediation, and emergency response projects from proposal through completion.
• Serve as primary contact for industrial/private clients during emergency response and remediation activities.
• Lead all aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, budget, forecasting, invoicing, reporting, and client communication.
• Develop project strategies, cost estimates, remedial approaches, and work plans aligned with client and regulatory objectives.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and support site regulatory engagement and long-term liability management.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, and environmental deliverables.
• Lead and mentor ER&P and environmental professionals; support staff development and training.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and business groups to deliver integrated solutions.
