Job summary
the company is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to act as the technical quarterback for strategic opportunities. You will partner with Account Executives to translate product capabilities into business outcomes for Product, Marketing, and Analytics leaders.
You will lead technical discovery, architect proof-of-concepts, and serve as a trusted advisor to prospects navigating their digital analytics strategy. Your credibility will drive the annual pipeline.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in software pre-sales (SE, Sales Consulting, or technical Account Management).
- Comfort speaking to nuanced technical concepts and be a self-learner (Python, SQL, hyperscaler integrations, APIs, R).
- Hands-on SQL experience: joins, aggregations, window functions.
- Track record of closing technical evaluations in competitive enterprise deals.
- Comfort presenting technical concepts to engineers and business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Lead technical discovery and demos for strategic opportunities.
- Architect proof-of-concept implementations to show value in customer data.
- Collaborate with Product Management to relay customer requirements and gaps.
- Mentor junior SEs on technical positioning and demo best practices.
- Develop reusable demo assets and proof-of-concept frameworks.
