Job summary

Accommodations Plus International (API) is seeking a Senior Sales Solutions Engineer to be the technical voice in the sales cycle. You will partner with Sales leadership to design solutions on API's SaaS platform, demonstrate value, and lead technical responses to RFPs and security questionnaires for airlines, cruise lines, and other travel operators.

The role requires strong enterprise SaaS pre-sales experience, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to travel roughly 20–25%.

Qualifications

7–10 years in solutions engineering or technical pre-sales for enterprise B2B SaaS.
Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles and six- to seven-figure SaaS deals.
Working knowledge of APIs (REST/JSON) and data integration expectations.
Strong presentation, storytelling, and whiteboarding skills for diverse audiences.
Excellent RFP responses and solution documentation.
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
Willingness to travel ~20–25% and work in a remote environment when needed.

Responsibilities

Lead technical discovery with airlines, cruise lines, rail operators, and travel partners to uncover pain points and success criteria.
Design and present tailored solutions on API's SaaS platform and translate workflows into business value.
Deliver live demos, proofs-of-concept, and executive presentations to diverse audiences.
Own technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires in partnership with Sales and Legal.
Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Client Delivery to scope implementations and set timelines.
Ensure smooth handoff to Client Delivery post-sales.
