Job summary

EMCOR Construction Services, Inc. (ECS) seeks an Enterprise Project & Fab Leader based in McLean, VA with extensive Prefabrication/Fabrication expertise in Mechanical piping, Plumbing, Sheet metal/HVAC.

This senior role manages multiple operating companies, mentors teams, and supports project execution with a focus on cost tracking, forecasting, and standardization. Travel to sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction or related areas of study; and minimum of 10–15 years experience in Mechanical Piping, Plumbing, Sheet Metal/HVAC.
• Experience as Project Executive/Operations Manager/Fabrication Leader on $100M+ contractor.
• Strong leadership of large, multi-trade projects; ethics and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Visit operating companies to support project teams and fabrication processes (up to 40–50% travel).
• Assess execution rigor and field performance; support turnarounds where needed.
• Develop and improve project controls, cost tracking and forecasting methods.
• Lead the creation of a project execution playbook aligning prefabrication with procurement and estimating.
• Mentor teams and transfer best practices across operating companies.
