Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a seasoned policy governance leader to build, analyze, and continuously improve the enterprise policy program. You will partner with policy owners, lead major governance initiatives, and ensure compliance with regulations across the firm.

Responsibilities include policy drafting, approvals, training collaboration, and governance reporting. The role requires strong project management, strategic planning, and communication with executives and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with at least eight years of compliance or financial services experience.
• Equivalent combination of experience, education, and training acceptable per HR.

Responsibilities

• Partner with policy owners to create and update enterprise policies aligned with regulatory obligations.
• Lead enterprise policy review, drafting, and publication for associates and subsidiaries.
• Review and approval of policies at ERM Committee or RJF Board where required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to address governance gaps identified by analyses and needs.
• Coordinate compliance reporting, exceptions, and corrective actions.
• Support Compliance Training to ensure policy requirements are communicated.
• Mentor and train Compliance staff as needed.
• Develop processes to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Monitor audits, reporting, and compliance communications.
• Advise senior management on policy and process changes; drive efficiency improvements.
• Research regulatory updates and apply findings across the program.
