Job summary

Advita Ortho is seeking a Software Architect for Enterprise Applications & Mobile to guide the platform from an ordering app to an end-to-end solution. The role focuses on architecture across web, mobile, services, and data on Azure with a mobile-first approach for hospitals and field staff.

The candidate will own security, CI/CD, offshore delivery, and a sequenced technical roadmap aligned to business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required.
• 10+ years building and shipping production software; 3+ years in an architect or technical lead capacity.
• Demonstrated ownership of production mobile applications on iOS and Android via React Native or comparable framework.
• Demonstrated ownership of a business-critical enterprise application at meaningful scale, including hundreds of users and transactional workloads.
• Proven experience integrating with ERP and enterprise systems of record.
• Track record leading distributed and/or contract engineering teams to delivery commitments.
• Medical device, life sciences, or other regulated-industry software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture across web, mobile, services, and data — Azure deployment, data model, security, and integration patterns.
• Own application security across the platform: access control, secure SDLC, encryption, and audits.
• Lead the mobile strategy and delivery: offline-first data sync, device management, and app distribution.
• Lead delivery of the active roadmap: field inventory tracking, audit tooling, and scheduling.
• Design and own integrations with ERP, PLM, identity, and BI systems.
• Provide technical leadership to offshore engineering and contract resources: standards, reviews, and definition of done.
• Establish CI/CD, testing, environment management, release processes, and documentation.
