Job summary

CVS Health Digital seeks a Principal Software Engineer to define and drive mobile and enterprise solution strategy. You will lead architects, mentor engineers, and translate prototypes into scalable production platforms.

You will ensure reliability, security, performance, and observability while embedding CI/CD, testing, and modern DevSecOps practices from day one. This role blends senior individual contribution with technical leadership across teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT including design, development and application program development.
• 7+ years with Java, Swift, SwiftUI, Kotlin.
• 5+ years in scalable mobile architectures and long-term technical decisions.
• 5+ years coordinating stakeholder requirements and technical solutions.
• 3+ years of CI/CD automation experience.
• 1+ years in AI technologies and frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• 1+ years of Flutter development experience.
• Proven ability to lead initiatives and influence engineering direction.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical direction for mobile platforms and enterprise solutions.
• Mentor senior and staff engineers and translate prototypes to production-grade platforms.
• Establish reliability, security, performance, and operability with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Lead architectural reviews and influence vendor technology direction.
• Develop strategic technical roadmaps aligned with enterprise technology goals.
• Sponsor DevSecOps maturity and shift-left testing and observability.
