Job summary

SMS Data Products Group, Inc. seeks an Enterprise Operations Manager to lead and coordinate AFCENT enterprise network operations, overseeing technical teams responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving network performance and service quality.

The role focuses on outage coordination, operational impact assessments, and continuous process improvement. The position supports mission requirements for AFCENT, involving 24/7 enterprise network operations, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ relevant experience in IT operations/services management.
• Unix/Linux, and Firewall experience required.
• LAN and WAN Enterprise support experience essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage staff and overall operations management to ensure alignment.
• Oversee monitoring, status reporting and coordination of actions for the AFCENT enterprise network.
• Provide oversight to a team of technical professionals supporting the AFCENT enterprise network.
• Manage network performance and end-to-end service quality for the Network infrastructure.
• Review and analyze end-to-end network performance to maintain QoS levels.
• Assist in evaluating network performance tools and services for existing/new technologies.
• Develop SOPs to address outages and disruptions.
• Identify trends leading to service or network disruption and recommend remediation actions.
• Conduct operational impact assessments of outages and potential outages.
• Coordinate and manage authorized service interruptions with stakeholders.
• Report status of planned and unplanned outages and disruptions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement with cross-functional teams.
• Perform other duties as required by policy and guidance.
• Provide general IT management, networking, WAN support, and briefing support.
• Support CONUS/OCONUS deployment/TDY travel as required.
