Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a senior engineering technology leader to serve as the owner of key engineering technologies across the enterprise. You will drive lifecycle governance, evaluation, deployment, and continuous improvement while influencing technology strategy and risk mitigation across projects and offices.

The role requires deep technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to lead change through knowledge transfer, documentation, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental), Drafting, Architecture, Urban Planning, or IT and 16+ years of experience using engineering technologies to develop or support complicated transportation projects.
• In lieu of degree, 22+ years of experience using engineering technologies to develop or support complicated transportation projects
• Experience leading technology initiatives and championing enterprise technology investments across projects, disciplines, and offices

Responsibilities

• Acts as the engineering technology owner for select technologies across the lifecycle, evaluating hardware, software and cloud solutions for deployment viability.
• Leads discussions with practitioners, project teams, and stakeholders to support adoption of engineering technologies.
• Develops and maintains technical workflows, standards, training, and guidance to improve project delivery quality and efficiency.
• Provides guidance and support to practitioners, coordinating with vendors for issue resolution and knowledge transfer
