Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a senior engineering technology leader to own select technologies across the enterprise, guiding lifecycle evaluation, deployment, support and governance. You will influence technology strategy, manage vendor relationships, and drive standardization across projects and offices.

The role focuses on leading initiatives, developing workflows and training materials, and providing guidance to practitioners while ensuring scalable knowledge assets and smooth technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 16+ years of experience using engineering technologies to support transportation projects.
• In lieu of degree, 22+ years of experience using engineering technologies to support transportation projects.
• Experience as an enterprise authority in engineering technology and digital delivery.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the engineering technology owner for select engineering technology through the lifecycle, evaluating hardware, software and cloud solutions.
• Leads discussions with practitioners, project teams and stakeholders to support adoption of select engineering technologies.
• Develops, documents, communicates, and maintains technical workflows, standards, guidance, training and knowledge transfer.
• Provides technical guidance and support to practitioners throughout the project lifecycle and coordinates with vendors as needed.
• Champions coordination with vendor personnel, reviews vendor roadmaps and maintains relationships to support technology use.
• Assesses technology initiatives, conducts research and makes recommendations to inform decisions.
