Delta Dental of California is seeking a Senior Data Program Consultant to drive the enterprise data program roadmap and ensure data products meet stakeholder goals. You will lead Agile planning, coordinate cross-domain roadmaps, and manage KPI tracking and risk mitigation.

The role partners with Scrum Masters to ensure smooth sprint execution and efficient intake processes. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in data analytics and program management, strong governance knowledge, and exceptional

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with Bachelor’s degree in data analytics or program management
• Experience in data analytics and program management required
• Comprehensive understanding of enterprise data programs and data governance principles
• Strong familiarity with Agile methodologies, processes, and tools (EPIC creation, sprint planning, backlog refinement)
• Knowledge of data analytics frameworks, KPIs, and performance metrics tracking
• Expertise in cross-functional team alignment and stakeholder collaboration
• Understanding of enterprise-wide communication strategies and tools for project updates and status reporting
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Superior written and verbal communication, including leadership presentations
• Ability to foster cross-domain partnerships and build consensus among diverse teams
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of a 1-3 year Enterprise Data Program roadmap across all data program areas
• Drive Agile Theme Review and Planning processes; create decks and present for approval
• Align cross-domain roadmaps and identify dependencies across data programs
• Lead enterprise data program communications and status reporting
• Own Agile processes for the Data & Analytics CoE including EPIC creation and backlog prioritization
• Collaborate with Scrum Masters on sprint planning and backlog refinement
• Track and publish quarterly Data Program KPIs and manage risks and issues
• Manage Central Intake process including backlog triage and dashboard ownership
• Lead specific enterprise data initiatives with project plans and milestone tracking
