Job summary

Merit Medical in South Jordan, Utah is seeking a senior leader to head the Business Intelligence Systems team and oversee BI and analytics systems. The role focuses on governance, data reliability, and scalable analytics using Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Fabric.

You will partner with business leaders to translate requirements into enterprise analytics solutions, mentor BI staff, and drive continuous improvement across data management,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• Five years of system design, implementation, and maintenance experience.
• Four years in a supervisory capacity.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage work of others and work as a team.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and data governance.
• Project management experience.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead BI Systems team; set priorities and manage resources.
• Oversee dashboards with Power BI across enterprise.
• Ensure data extraction, integration, and transformation from diverse sources.
• Provide technical direction for BI tools and platforms; govern analytics lifecycle.
• Evaluate and adopt AI technologies in BI with governance.
• Maintain proficiency in SQL and data modeling; ensure data quality.
