Job summary

Tenarai - LATAM is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer / BI Analyst with 5-8+ years of hands-on experience to drive data visualization, semantic modeling, and business intelligence for orthodontics and healthcare initiatives.

You will work with clinical, practice management, and CRM data to build enterprise-grade Power BI solutions and empower decision-makers with actionable insights across patient, practice, and treatment domains.

Qualifications

5-8+ years of hands-on Power BI development and BI analysis experience.
Experience using Microsoft Copilot in Power BI and AI-driven workflows for faster DAX authoring and automated insights.
Expert-level mastery in Power BI Desktop/Service, DAX, deployment pipelines, workspaces, and gateways.
Deep expertise in Star Schema design, dimensional modeling, and data modeling for enterprise BI solutions.
Strong SQL querying skills with experience querying Snowflake data warehouses.
Experience implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) and data governance.
Experience with multi-system integrations (Cloud 9, OrthoFi) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable Power BI dashboards for healthcare and orthodontic use cases.
Leverage AI tools to accelerate report generation, DAX creation, and narrative summaries.
Architect reusable Power BI semantic models and optimize performance.
Write optimized DAX measures, calculated columns, and cross-domain KPIs.
Connect Power BI to Snowflake and other business applications; tune SQL queries.
Manage dataflows, deployment pipelines, and workspace governance to optimize refresh and storage.
Collaborate with data engineers and stakeholders to document KPI logic and data lineage.
