Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. seeks a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen enterprise data governance and scale responsible AI governance.

Defines frameworks, policies, and operating models in collaboration with business, legal, privacy, security, compliance, and risk teams. As part of Data Governance, you will translate requirements into roadmaps, system changes, and role-based accountability, embedding governance into platforms and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in data management, governance, or AI governance or a Master's with 6+ years.
• 2+ years of experience with ERP/master data/metadata platforms; SAP master data acumen preferred.
• Experience using data governance, AI governance, process improvement, and change management methods.
• Ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives with limited oversight.
• Ability to manage roadmaps and translate governance requirements into system/process changes.
• Strong understanding of international business environments and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights, governance roles, escalation paths, and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data governance and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils, working groups, and stakeholder forums to drive alignment, prioritization, issue resolution, and adoption of standards.
• Manage the data and AI governance roadmap, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes, process updates, role assignments, and adoption activities that support sustainable operations.
• Partner with business and technology teams to embed governance requirements into platforms, workflows, approvals, metadata, controls, and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity, roadmap progress, adoption, data quality, and responsible AI effectiveness.
• Assess data and AI governance maturity, identify gaps, recommend improvements, and track remediation.
• Act as a subject matter expert for governance concepts, definitions, standards, metadata, stewardship practices, and responsible for AI oversight.
• Partner with Data Stewards, business owners, product teams, and technology partners to improve metadata management, governance processes, data integrity, and enterprise data sharing.
