Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. seeks a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen enterprise data governance and scale responsible AI governance across the organization.

This role defines and improves governance frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and operating processes enabling trusted data and accountable AI. You will partner with business, technology, legal, privacy, security, compliance and risk teams to translate governance requirements into practical roadmaps, system and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Management, Analytics or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6 years.
• 2+ years of experience using an ERP, master data, metadata, workflow, governance platforms; SAP master data acumen preferred.
• Experience with data governance, AI governance, process improvement, and change management methods.
• Ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives and manage intake, prioritization, and delivery with limited oversight.
• Manage roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and translate governance requirements into system/process/ reporting changes.
• Adapt to complex international business environments; strong knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils, working groups, and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and adoption.
• Manage the data and AI governance roadmap, including priorities, milestones, risks, and reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes, process updates, and role assignments for sustainable operations.
• Embed governance requirements into platforms, workflows, approvals, metadata, controls, and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity and effectiveness.
• Assess maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Act as SME for governance concepts, metadata, stewardship, and AI oversight.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards, product teams, and technology partners to improve metadata and data sharing.
