Job summary

Under Armour is seeking a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen enterprise data governance and scale responsible AI governance across the organization. The role defines frameworks, policies, and operating models to enable trusted data and measurable adoption.

You will work with business, technology, legal, privacy, security, and risk teams to translate governance requirements into practical roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Data Management, Analytics or a related field with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6 years or 12 years without degree.
• 2+ years of experience using an ERP, master data, metadata, workflow, governance, or enterprise technology platform (SAP preferred).
• Experience with data governance, AI governance, process improvement, and change management methods.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives and manage intake, prioritization, and delivery with limited oversight.
• Proven ability to manage roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and translate governance requirements into system, process, reporting, and role-based operating model changes.
• Strong knowledge of master data management, data governance, data quality, metadata management, stewardship, and responsible AI governance.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils, working groups, and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and adoption of standards.
• Manage the data and AI governance roadmap, including priorities, milestones, risks, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes, process updates, and role assignments to support operations.
• Embed governance requirements into platforms, workflows, approvals, metadata, and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity and effectiveness.
• Assess governance maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Act as SME for governance concepts and AI oversight.
• Partner with Data Stewards and product teams to improve metadata management and data sharing.
