Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. seeks a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen data governance and scale responsible AI governance across the organization. You will define frameworks, policies, and operating models with partners across business, technology, legal, privacy, security, and risk teams.

The role leads governance councils, manages roadmaps, and embeds governance into platforms and reporting to ensure data quality, accountability, and measurable AI effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with extensive experience in data governance, AI governance, and risk management.
• Master's degree preferred for expanded governance scope and leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading cross-functional governance initiatives and translating requirements into actionable roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, roles, and accountability.
• Develop and enforce policies and procedures for data and AI governance.
• Lead governance councils and stakeholder forums to drive adoption of standards.
• Manage governance roadmap, milestones, risks, and reporting.
• Oversee system changes, processes, and role-based operating model updates.
• Embed governance requirements into platforms, workflows, and metadata controls.
• Define and monitor KPIs for governance maturity and AI effectiveness.
• Assess governance maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Act as SME for governance concepts and AI oversight practices.
• Collaborate with data stewards and product teams to improve data quality and sharing.
