Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. seeks a Lead, Enterprise Data & AI Governance to strengthen data governance and scale responsible AI governance across the organization. You will define frameworks, policies, and operating models with business, tech, and legal partners.

You will drive governance roadmaps, KPIs, and mature governance practices, embedding requirements into platforms and workflows while collaborating with data stewards and product teams globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience or Master's with 6 years or typically 12 years without degree.
• 2+ years of experience using ERP/master data, metadata, workflow, governance, or enterprise tech platform (SAP master data acumen preferred).
• Experience using data governance, AI governance, process improvement, and change management methods.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional governance initiatives and manage intake, prioritization, and delivery with limited oversight.
• Demonstrated ability to manage roadmaps, coordinate cross-functional delivery, and translate governance requirements into system, process, reporting, and role-based operating model changes.
• Deep understanding and ability to adapt to complex international business environments.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including decision rights, governance roles, escalation paths, and accountability models.
• Define and implement policies, standards, and procedures for data governance and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils, working groups, and stakeholder forums to drive alignment and adoption of standards.
• Manage the data and AI governance roadmap, including priorities, milestones, dependencies, risks, and delivery reporting.
• Oversee governance-related system changes, process updates, and role assignments to support sustainable operations.
• Partner with business and tech teams to embed governance requirements into platforms, workflows, and metadata reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity, roadmap progress, and AI effectiveness.
• Assess governance maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Act as SME for governance concepts, metadata, stewardship, and AI oversight.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and product teams to improve data integrity and sharing.
