Job summary

Under Armour, Inc. is seeking a Lead, Enterprise Data and AI Governance to strengthen enterprise data governance and scale responsible AI governance across the organization.

This role defines governance frameworks, policies, standards, controls, and operating processes that enable trusted data, responsible AI use, clear decision rights, and measurable adoption. The person will partner with business, technology, legal, privacy, security, compliance and risk teams to translate governance

Qualifications

• Experience defining and improving governance frameworks, policies, and standards.
• Ability to manage cross-functional governance initiatives and roadmaps.
• Experience embedding governance into platforms, workflows, and reporting.
• Strong knowledge of data quality, metadata management and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain data and AI governance frameworks, including roles and accountability.
• Define policies and procedures for data governance and responsible AI governance.
• Facilitate governance councils and stakeholder forums to drive adoption of standards.
• Manage the governance roadmap with priorities, milestones and risk
• Oversee system changes and adoption activities supporting operations.
• Partner with business and technology to embed governance requirements into platforms and reporting.
• Define, publish, and monitor KPIs for governance maturity and AI effectiveness.
• Assess governance maturity, identify gaps, and track remediation.
• Act as SME for governance concepts, metadata, and AI oversight.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and product teams to improve data sharing.
