Job summary

fal – Features & Labels, Inc. seeks a Senior Solutions Architect for its San Francisco, CA office. This role engages with enterprise clients to design scalable AI solution architectures on the fal.ai platform and requires travel up to 25-35 percent.

Responsibilities include pre-sales, proofs-of-concept, integration patterns, and collaboration with Product/Engineering to deliver tailored solutions, while leveraging Mandarin interactions with Chinese partners.

Qualifications

• 10 years in technical, customer-facing roles including pre-sales and deployment.
• 10 years designing cloud and private data center infra including containers.
• 8 years post-sales technical engagement delivering enterprise solutions.
• 7 years presenting to C-suite and IT teams on AI inference and performance.
• 6 years designing scalable cloud architectures in multi-cloud/hybrid setups.
• 5 years deploying software in Chinese tech ecosystem and with Chinese model providers.
• 5 years coding for inference using Python/SQL.
• 5 years collaborating with GSIs/RSIs and cloud providers.
• 3 years tailoring AI models including LLMs and diffusion models.
• Professional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospects and clients to assess technical needs and propose models and services.
• Deliver presentations explaining technical products to customers and partners.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Sales to tailor enterprise solutions.
• Lead pre-sales and post-sales activities including proofs-of-concept and deployments.
• Translate business requirements into scalable reference architectures on fal.ai.
• Build deep technical relationships with partnerships and Chinese ecosystem providers.
