Job summary

OpenAI is seeking an AI Architect to be the senior technical owner for a named portfolio of customers, shaping AI strategy and guiding progress from discovery to production value. You will own the technical roadmap across ChatGPT Enterprise, OpenAI API, Codex, and related solutions, coordinating with specialists to deliver durable customer impact.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in customer-facing technical roles such as solutions architecture.
• Guided enterprise organizations from technical evaluation through production adoption.
• Ability to communicate with senior technical and business leaders and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and long-term relationship owner for named customers and pre-sales prospects.
• Own the technical account plan, milestones, adoption priorities and expansion opportunities.
• Lead discovery with executives and technical teams to identify and prioritize use cases.
• Develop Applied AI Architectures spanning models, applications, data, integration, security and governance.
• Guide customers through evaluations, workshops, proofs of value, and production deployment.
• Maintain a focused use-case portfolio with clear ownership and adoption plans.
