Job summary

Ellaway Blues Consulting is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead the engineering delivery of complex power generation projects from concept through construction.

You will coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, and clients, owning engineering scope, budget, and schedule while guiding multidisciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, civil, structural, controls and process disciplines.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience managing engineering activities on EPC or design-build projects.
• Background within power generation, energy, industrial plants, oil & gas, process industries, or other large-scale industrial infrastructure.
• Previous experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong understanding of engineering project delivery, client management, and commercial project execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams across EPC power generation projects.
• Managing engineering scope, budgets, schedules and change management.
• Acting as the primary engineering interface with clients throughout project delivery.
• Coordinating engineering deliverables with procurement, construction, and commissioning teams.
• Providing technical oversight of third-party engineering partners while developing internal engineering capability.
• Driving engineering standards, quality processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentoring engineers and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Supporting project planning, risk management and technical decision making.
