Job summary

GAI Consultants Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead traffic and engineering projects. The role includes supervising engineers, managing budgets, and acting as the client representative, with PE licensure and cross-state reciprocity.

This on-site or hybrid position is available in our Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia offices and offers eligibility for a sign-on bonus as part of a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of engineering management experience.
• PE Registration required with reciprocity in multiple states.
• Experience overseeing engineers and managing plans, budgets, and client relations.
• Experience with state agencies and design-build projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in development of plans and financial monitoring.
• Serve as client representative for projects.
• Lead projects with complex features and integrate engineering economics and risk analysis.
• Develop standards, guidelines, and design alternatives for complex engineering projects.
• Manage project objectives, resources, and team leadership.
