Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to oversee traffic and engineering projects. The role supports a team of engineers, planners, and environmental consultants delivering solutions to a broad client base, including energy and transportation sectors.

The position offers on-site or hybrid work at Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, or West Virginia offices with a sign-on bonus. PE licensure and cross-state reciprocity are valued.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of State Agencies required; additional government experience preferred.
• Oversees engineers in plan development, financial monitoring, and acts as client representative.
• PE License required with ability to attain PE in additional states.

Responsibilities

• Develops standards and guidelines for projects.
• Leads projects in their area of specialization.
• Develops design alternatives considering requirements, constraints, and permitting.
• Incorporates sustainability and advanced concepts into solutions.
• Oversees technical, legal, and financial aspects of projects.
• May serve as Project Manager for certain projects up to $150,000/year.
