Job summary

GAI Consultants seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to oversee traffic and engineering projects. The role is on-site or hybrid at offices in OH, IN, KY, or WV, with opportunity for a sign-on bonus and growth within a multidisciplinary firm.

You will lead engineers, manage project scope, budgets, and client relationships, and integrate sustainability and risk analyses into solutions for complex transportation and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of and experience working with State Agencies required; Design-Build experience preferred.
• Oversee engineers in plan development, financial monitoring, and client representation.
• PE Registration required with reciprocity in multiple states.

Responsibilities

• Leads projects with complex features and integrates engineering economics and risk analysis.
• Oversees technical, legal, and financial aspects of entire projects.
• Develops design alternatives accounting for constraints and regulatory requirements.
• May serve as Project Manager for select projects up to $150,000/year.
