Job summary

GAI Consultants is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years of experience to lead traffic and engineering projects across energy, transportation, and development sectors. This role is on-site or hybrid at Ohio and neighboring offices, with work spanning multiple states and client groups.

You will supervise engineers, manage plans and budgets, and serve as the client representative, applying engineering economics and risk analysis to complex problems.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing traffic and engineering projects.
• PE Registration is required; reciprocity in multiple states.
• Experience with State Agencies and Design-Build preferred.
• Oversee engineers and manage plans, financial monitoring, and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in developing plans and budgets.
• Lead projects with complex features and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop design alternatives considering constraints and community input.
• Apply engineering economics and risk analysis to solutions.
