Job summary

GAI Consultants seeks a Senior Engineering Manager with 15+ years directing traffic and engineering projects. The role involves supervising engineers, managing plans, and serving as the client representative for multi-state projects across transportation, energy, and infrastructure.

The position is on-site or hybrid at offices in the Midwest region with a sign-on bonus and opportunities for growth within a nationally recognized firm.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience managing traffic and engineering projects.
• PE Registration is required with ability to attain PE in additional states.
• Experience with State Agencies and design-build projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineers in the development of plans and financial monitoring.
• Serve as GAI’s client representative on projects.
• Lead projects with complex features and multiple teams.
• Integrate engineering economics and risk analysis into solutions.
• Reconcile directions from conflicting interests and set priorities.
• May serve as Project Manager for selected projects with approval.
