Job summary

Mercury Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Custody team, directing architecture, delivery, and reliability of core custody systems.

You will partner with product, operations, and compliance to translate business needs into scalable, auditable platforms. The role requires deep experience with broker-dealer custody, ledgers, and reconciliation, and a track record of managing technical teams in fast-growth environments.

Qualifications

• Has 3+ years of experience managing highly technical teams.
• Direct experience building or operating RIA and broker-dealer custody systems at scale, including ledgers and reconciliation.
• Understanding of broker-dealer operating models across introducing brokers, clearing firms, and custodians.
• Experience translating regulatory and compliance requirements into engineering controls.
• Knowledge of securities lifecycle, settlement, and corporate actions for multiple asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire, and develop a team of senior engineers with a focus on high performance.
• Own the team’s technical strategy and roadmap, aligning with business goals.
• Design and evolve core custody systems including ledgers, security master service, and reconciliation.
• Partner with product, operations, and compliance to create auditable, scalable systems.
• Collaborate with product and partnerships to align integrations and roadmaps.
• Set high standards for correctness, reliability, and incident response.
