Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking an Engineering Manager to guide the career growth of the team while contributing as a technical leader. This role involves mentoring engineers, reviewing designs, and steering architecture for cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs.

You will balance technical debt with delivery milestones and work closely with cross-functional product teams. Remote-first with flexible work, strong benefits, and a commitment to inclusion.

Competenze

• At least 10 years of experience in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment, preferably designing and building medium to large-scale on Cloud platforms.
• Production-grade cloud-native microservices and RESTful APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and containerized deployment patterns.
• Experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, using JDBC and ORM mappers like Hibernate.
• DevOps experience, preferably with Jenkins CI/CD.
• Experience using AWS cloud native services and data engineering.
• Ability to think strategically around trade-offs and work authorization in the United States.

• Working closely with cross-functional product teams to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Guiding the engineering team on planning, estimation, prioritization, trade-offs, and balancing technical debt with milestones.
