Nava Public Benefit Corp. is a consultancy focused on modernizing government services with cloud‑native platforms. The Software Engineering Manager role blends people leadership with hands‑on technical contributions, either as an individual contributor or as a technical lead.

Lead an agile, multidisciplinary team, guide architecture and delivery, and collaborate with product partners to balance scope, risk, and quality while advancing the organisation’s mission and client impact.

Formación

• Ten years of experience in an agile, multidisciplinary team environment.
• Experience designing production‑grade cloud‑native microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and ORM tools like Hibernate.
• DevOps experience with Jenkins CI/CD.
• Experience using AWS cloud services and data engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Write code and perform code reviews.
• Write and review technical specifications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional product teams to identify and mitigate technical risks.
• Guide engineering on planning, estimation, prioritization, trade‑offs and balancing technical debt with milestones.
• Review architecture and designs from other teams.
• Strategize with leadership to grow projects.
• Attend conferences and network with potential clients.
