Temporal Technologies is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager for the Test Systems & Tooling team. You will lead engineers building shared testing capabilities and environments that enable production-like validation across the platform.

You will drive cross-team alignment, establish ownership, and improve pre-production confidence with measurable outcomes. The role focuses on reliability, tooling adoption, and scalable testing strategies for complex workloads.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering team with direct reports.
• Strong background in building or operating reliable distributed systems.
• Track record delivering internal platforms/tooling adopted by many teams.
• Ability to align stakeholders and drive execution across teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the Test Systems & Tooling team by hiring and coaching engineers.
• Design production-like testing environments and tooling to scale validation.
• Develop workload replay, multi-tenant testing, load and stress testing capabilities.
• Establish failure-mode validation with real failure conditions.
• Create frameworks and guidance with visibility into test health and gaps.
• Own system-level coverage outcomes and integrate into pre-production validation.
• Collaborate with Cloud/Infrastructure, Reliability, Release Engineering, and product teams.
