Docplanner is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own the Payments area, lead a 7–9 engineer team, and drive high performance with an AI-native approach. You will partner with Product and Design to prioritize foundations, experiments and user-centric improvements.

You will stay hands-on, code directly, and mentor engineers while delivering faster, higher-quality Payments outcomes and measurable impact on retention and engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams in product companies.
• Hands-on experience using AI to speed up code writing and review.
• Founder's mindset: quick experiments and pivot ability.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and embrace new challenges.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own performance management for the team and address underperformance early.
• Level up engineers with coaching, growth plans and reviews.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to decide investments and bets.
• Stay hands-on in coding and architectural changes.
• Maintain AI-native practices and high-quality delivery.
