Docplanner is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to own the Payments area and elevate a 7–9 person engineering team. You will work closely with Product and Design, stay hands-on in the code, and push AI-native improvements to drive value for patients and providers.

You will enable faster, higher-quality delivery, coach engineers, and measure impact with concrete metrics while enjoying a remote-friendly, hybrid work environment and competitive benefits.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years leading engineering teams in product companies.
• Hands-on experience using AI to speed up code written and reviewed, with good judgment.
• Fluent English.

Responsabilidades

• Own performance management for your team: set clear expectations, give direct feedback, run reviews and calibrations, and address underperformance early.
• Level up your engineers: build growth plans, coach through pairing and code reviews, and grow senior engineers and tech leads.
• Collaborate with Product Manager and Design to decide where to invest: foundations, bets for fast experiments, and pivots based on user needs.
• Stay hands-on: code and implement features and architectural changes, not just review.
• Keep AI-native practices sharp and maintain high quality while accelerating delivery.
