Job summary

One Call is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead several engineering teams delivering scalable, secure software in a remote-first, globally distributed setup. You will set technical direction, drive roadmaps with cross-functional partners, and champion modern practices across DevOps, cloud-native architectures, and agile methods.

You will mentor engineers, manage performance, and oversee platform modernization while ensuring regulatory compliance and high-impact metrics across product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership experience across multiple teams and product areas.
• Experience leading teams in cloud-native environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with remote-first and globally distributed teams.
• Track record delivering enterprise-grade software in regulated environments (SOC2, HIPAA).

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple engineering teams in delivering scalable, secure, high-quality software.
• Drive adoption of Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and test automation.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Architecture to define roadmaps with speed and quality.
• Ensure teams align with business outcomes and measure via KPIs like velocity and availability.
• Build a high-talent, high-accountability culture including hiring and coaching.
• Own operational health of applications including uptime and incident response.
• Manage offshore teams and ensure alignment with standards and delivery expectations.
• Drive platform modernization, technical debt reduction, and automation.
• Collaborate across engineering, product, and business to resolve cross-functional challenges.
