Invitation Homes is seeking a Sr. Engineering Manager to lead a software organization across multiple teams. You’ll translate strategy into actionable roadmaps, coordinate with Product, Design and Delivery, and drive an aligned engineering agenda to grow our resident and associate experience.

Ideal candidates combine deep technical skill with strong coaching and communication to build a high-performing culture and deliver impactful projects in an agile environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional development experience and 3+ years leading an engineering team.
• Experience in agile development and solid software engineering principles.
• Strong technical skills in JS, databases, AWS, CI/CD, and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Define a technical roadmap aligned with business strategy for multiple teams.
• Coordinate with Product, Design and Delivery to scope and prioritize projects.
• Design and document system architecture, APIs, and third-party interfaces.
• Foster a collaborative culture and empower individual creativity.
• Coach, mentor, and grow engineering teams and careers.
• Measure performance and drive improvements with impact.
• Provide guidance to ensure on-time, accountable delivery.
• Stay current with tech trends and foster innovation.
