Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the API Platform team, building enterprise-grade APIs and enabling scalable delivery across the organization. Qualifications

• 7+ years of leadership experience
• 7+ years of experience building enterprise grade applications
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript
• 3+ years of experience with TypeScript and modern Node.js backend development
• Experience with API gateway technologies such as Kong, Apigee, or Azure API Management
• Experience with distributed workflows, asynchronous orchestration, or job-processing systems such as Temporal or similar platforms

Responsibilities

• Lead design and operations of backend APIs at scale
• Set vision and roadmaps with stakeholders
• Partner with engineering, product, and leadership across CVS Digital
• Advocate engineering best practices including test coverage, security and accessibility
• Mentor and develop a high-performing engineering team
