GoFundMe is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to head the Create squad in the San Francisco Bay Area. You will mentor a distributed team of 8 engineers across frontend, fullstack, and backend, and own the delivery of the campaign‑creation experience—from builder framework to publish flow.

You will champion data‑driven decision making, drive iterative PoCs, and partner with Product and Design to land measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading software teams as a people manager.
• Strong background building complex, customer‑facing web apps with TypeScript/React.
• Proven ability to balance speed and quality in a data‑driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow the Create squad (8 engineers across frontend, fullstack, backend).
• Own engineering delivery for campaign‑creation experiences and tools.
• Partner with Product and Design to frame problems and define success metrics.
