The role requires state PE registration, 12+ years of experience, and a proven leadership track in the utility sector. Compensation ranges with benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years’ experience as a practicing engineer.
• State registration as a Professional Engineer.
• An expert in engineering theories and principles.
• An expert in researching engineering and design issues, evaluating alternatives, making sound recommendations, and presenting recommendations.
• Ability to deal with diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership within the utility industry.
• Skilled in principles of project management.

Responsibilities

• Coaches and mentors other Engineering professionals.
• Reviews work of subordinate Engineering professionals.
• Provides technical leadership and direction on a corporate or industry level.
• Provides engineering guidance in problem identification, analysis, and resolution.
• Plans, organizes, estimates, schedules, and monitors work activities.
• Produces thorough technical reports, correspondence, and calculations.
• Continuously improves engineering knowledge and performance.
• Maintains accurate records and files.
