Job summary

extcsskbatteryam seeks a Sr. Manager, Engineering to lead Application & Systems Engineering within its Energy Storage group in the United States.

The role starts as a hands-on contributor and advances into managing the systems and application engineering team as the business expands. You will bridge customers, vendors, and internal teams, shaping technical proposals and guiding contract negotiations while ensuring technical excellence across utility-scale BESS projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering (electrical, mechanical, or computer science) or a related field.
• 7–10+ years in technical/engineering capacity with BESS experience ideal for utility-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of BESS design, including CPS, EMS, MV transformers, and interconnection processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; Power BI familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture of utility-scale BESS solutions and system integration.
• Act as technical authority in customer engagements and vendor coordination for RFPs.
• Support pre-contract technical efforts and FAT/SAT testing coordination.
• Drive negotiations for technical contract exhibits and performance guarantees.
