Job summary

MISO is seeking a Senior Engineer – Generator Interconnection to evaluate new and changing generation across the footprint. You will perform and manage power system studies that determine how generation can reliably interconnect to the transmission system while serving as a technical resource for interconnection customers, Transmission Owners, and neighboring RTOs.

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform system impact studies for generator interconnection requests in MISO's Generator Interconnection Queue.
• Review and evaluate projects from Transmission Owners with technical recommendations based on reliability requirements.
• Serve as SME on assigned projects, communicating study results and requirements to customers, owners, neighbors, and internal teams.
