Job summary

The City of New York seeks a Senior Enforcement Service Representative in the Department of Buildings. This full-time clerical role supports the unit with data entry, correction reviews, and customer service, under supervision.

Remote work is possible up to two days per week. Responsibilities include reviewing certificates of correction, updating systems, providing clear results to customers, and assisting with FOIL requests and public outreach as needed.

Qualifications

• Four-year high school diploma or equivalent approved by state education authority.
• Typing at a minimum of 100 keystrokes per minute (20 words).
• One year of satisfactory clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide data entry and certificate of correction review for administrative tasks.
• Guide team members on daily assigned tasks.
• Identify training needs for the team and promote career development.
• Manage scheduling conflicts as they arise and adjust calendars.
• Review certificates of corrections for proper documentation and minimum agency requirements.
