World Fuel is seeking a Senior Energy Consultant to help commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, municipal, and nonprofit organizations navigate energy procurement decisions.

This role emphasizes advisory relationships rather than traditional sales, guiding clients through electricity and natural gas decisions with market insights.

Remote-friendly with local travel, you will support clients across PJM markets and build long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in consultative sales or client advisory services.
• Proven ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to explain complex energy concepts to business decision-makers.
• Willingness to travel locally to meet clients.
• Experience with energy markets such as PJM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor to commercial and industrial energy customers.
• Develop long-term client relationships based on trust and expertise.
• Manage accounts through renewals, procurement planning, and energy strategy discussions.
• Lead procurement reviews, supplier negotiations, and RFP processes.
• Communicate market trends, pricing changes, and regulatory updates.
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to deliver market and risk management solutions.
