Job summary

World Fuel seeks a relationship-focused Senior Energy Consultant to help commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, municipal, and nonprofit organizations make informed energy procurement decisions. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, guiding clients through energy markets, procurement options, and risk management while building long-term relationships.

You’ll join a leading energy procurement team serving PA, OH, IL, and surrounding deregulated markets, with remote work and local travel.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in consultative sales, account management, or energy-related advisory roles.
Demonstrated success building and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to explain complex energy concepts to business decision-makers.
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Willingness to travel locally to meet clients and attend events.

Responsibilities

Build trusted client relationships as a strategic energy advisor.
Advise clients on electricity and natural gas procurement decisions and evaluate proposals.
Lead RFP processes and supplier negotiations to optimize value for clients.
