Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple projects across the power infrastructure portfolio. This role blends strategic oversight with hands-on management, requiring extensive experience in utility-scale solar, battery storage, and high voltage substations.

Remote or hybrid work is possible with in-office presence in San Diego, CA. The incumbent will coordinate with engineering, project controls, finance and field operations, driving project schedules, budgets

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work-related experience in design and/or construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure projects.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work with others under all situations.
• Strong leadership ability to pull together team members in remote environments and organize them into a high-performing project team.
• Proficiency with project scheduling and cost control practices (P6 scheduling preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of multiple project teams simultaneously.
• Review and negotiate complex contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margins.
• Make project-level executive decisions on cost and risk impacts to the company.
• Coordinate, lead, and document routine project update meetings with client and internal stakeholders.
• Develop scopes of work and hire appropriate third parties to execute work.
• Oversee preparation of project billings and optimize cash flow.
• Ensure adherence to contract terms and SOLV safety policies.
