Job summary

Stantec is seeking experienced Project Managers to lead complex energy and infrastructure projects in Southern California and the Western US. You will oversee scope, budgets, and schedules while coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, stakeholders, and regulators to deliver safe, high-quality solutions.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, PMP/PE preferred, and travel to project sites. Base locations include Pasadena and Los Angeles with a strong benefits package and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Experience: minimum 10 years’ relevant professional experience, with at least 5 years managing projects.
• Licenses/Certifications: PMP and/or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure, environmental, or building design projects.
• Familiarity with Earned Value Management.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Travel to other offices and project sites will be required.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Client-focused mindset with commitment to technical excellence, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing scope, budget, and schedule on multiple projects.
• Writing proposals and leading multi-disciplinary teams from planning through final design and construction.
• Managing resources, contract terms, costs and schedule to stay on track.
• Supporting proposal pricing, cost proposals, and risk reviews.
• Promoting safety, quality, and adherence to internal policies.
• Mentoring and training future leaders and promoting cross-geography collaboration.
