Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Los Angeles is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of strategic management consulting engagements for local governments and utilities across North America.

You will support asset, organizational, financial, infrastructure funding, economic, and technology consulting services. The role requires 7+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), strong analytical and leadership skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, math, finance, economics, statistics, data science, engineering, accounting, or related field.
• 7+ years total post-undergraduate experience.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience with local government funding mechanisms and infrastructure policy.
• Proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary member of multiple client teams at meetings, including workshops.
• Act as client account manager and project manager for engagements, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Identify best-fit solutions to complex business, infrastructure, and operational issues.
• Assist in interactive client meetings to analyze issues affecting organizations.
• Grow client relationships and lead business development in RFQs and RFPs.
• Review analyses for technical accuracy and appropriateness of methods.
• Meet performance goals, mentor junior staff, and complete required training.
