Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Southern California based Senior Project Manager with a strong background in transportation infrastructure. This role will oversee major transit, roadway, and highway design projects and manage client relationships across the region.

The candidate should have a PE in California and at least 10 years of project management experience in CA, with the ability to lead teams, coordinate across disciplines, and ensure timely, cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Licensed as a Professional Engineer in California.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience in California.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate business development efforts, including market research, client relationships, developing leads, and securing contracts.
• Prepare project proposals and attend pre- and post-proposals meetings/interviews.
• Establish and support cross-discipline project design processes with leadership.
• Organize and supervise the work of a technical team for civil engineering projects.
• Provide internal peer review of designs by other engineers/technologists.
• Coordinate designs with stormwater management engineers and incorporate stormwater designs into land development drawings.
• Be the main client contact on the project(s).
• Collaborate with local leadership to meet operation goals and project management framework.
